SARA wants our Home Health Aides to be the Best.
That’s why we’re happy to offer you a wide variety of courses that will improve your knowledge and skills.
New York State requires 12 hours a year of continuing education courses to keep your HHA certification.
Many caregivers have requested a way for them to complete this training online. We are pleased to be able to accommodate our caregivers by fulfilling their request for remote in-service classes.
At some time during the year, you will still need to come to the Valley Stream office for your skills assessment and your evaluation, but you may now take the classes at home.
SARA believes in investing in your future career with our agency and we hope you find these courses informative and helpful. Please apply these lessons to elevate the care you provide to your clients each day.
Please note that since HHA In-Service training is required by New York State to maintain a valid HHA certificate, SARA will not be paying caregivers for In-Service. However, you may be able to use these in-services for other agencies where you work if they accept them.

New employees should click to create an account. Existing employees will just log in using their email address and lowercase, password123. They should “not” create an account. SARA already did this for caregivers who have been at the agency for awhile.
Once logged into the program click on Dashboard and you will see Modules. Module 4 contains In-Service Training. Please take the courses listed in May to be completed by 5-31-25.
At this time complete the 3 topics in May ONLY.
Each course consists of a video and a test.
You will receive a certificate based on attaining a score of 80% or higher on the tests.
