Important Notice from SARA’s Director of Patient Services.

Do Not Clock-In or Clock-Out from outside the Client’s Home Unless Instructed to do so by a SARA Staffing/Scheduling Coordinator!

If you are unable to use the HHA Exchange EVV mobile app, then you must clock in from the client’s phone.

Only use your personal phone to clock in and out electronically for the HHAX EVV mobile app.

The other alternative is to call HHAX from the client’s phone to clock-in and clock-out. 

HHA Exchange will only registered phone calls from the client’s phone or sign ins from the HHAX EVV mobile app as legal confirmation for the time you spend on a case.

New York state required by law that you clock in and clock out properly from the location approved by the licensed home care agency.

Otherwise there could be legal ramifications from the state and it could result in your termination from SARA.

If for any reason you do not understand how to use the EVV mobile app, please come to SARA for another lesson. Caregivers are shown during orientation how to use the system properly.

Also, the law requires that you always enter your duty codes when you Clock Out from a client’s home.
